About a Castlebar Collie Puppy
We don’t cut any corners with our litters. Care and planning begins long before conception, ensuring prospective mothers are in the best of health and condition. They are provided with the best veterinary care & nutrition throughout their pregnancy and after. We leave nothing to chance. They are the future of the Collie breed, and the next generation of our breeding program.
Our Collie adults and puppies are raised on a balanced diet of "Taste Of The Wild" Brand dog food.
Puppies receive all of the following care prior to sale:
* Puppy Vaccinations: your puppy, will have at least one round of puppy vaccinations. We will provide you with a detailed vaccination schedule from our veterinarian.
* Veterinarian Health Check: your puppy will have been examined by a veterinarian before it goes to their new family home. You can feel at ease that your are getting a healthy collie puppy.
* Worming: Your puppy will have had regular preventative deworming to avoid any parasitical issues.
* Collie Eye Checks: Puppy eyes are checked after 7 weeks of age by our board certified canine ophthalmologist, Dr. Faber of Sacramento California.
* Spay/Neuter Contract: All of our pet puppies are sold on a spay/neuter contract by 7 months of age.

*Our Puppy Guarantee:
Our puppies are sold with a full guarantee/Contract - that they are in good health at time of purchase against disorders that would negatively affect the dog’s ability to be a happy & healthy member of your family.
*Reserve A Puppy
We work from a reservation list for our puppies. If you have decided on a Castlebar Collie puppy and you have been approved, a $200 deposit will reserve your puppy, including requests you might have (color, sex). The deposit is non refundable, as it shows a commitment to a puppy. deposits will only be taken if we have a few puppies that will fit your wish list or if color and sex does not matter . We breed for our breeding/show program first. Most litters do have puppies that we make available to loving, permanent homes as family pets.
The order the deposits are received will determine the picking order for our family homes. The balance would be due when you pick your new baby up.
It would be best to email me your wish list - color - male or female.
*Shipping your puppy:
If you decide on a puppy from Castlebar Collies, but you don’t live in Northern California, it can be fairly easy. Your puppy would fly out from the Sacramento Airport using Frontier, Continental and Delta. Other Airlines are available depending on the destination. We also try very hard to find a non stop flight. Flights from Sacramento to Denver on Frontier are non stop. Average shipping for a puppy ranges from $225-$300, depending on the destination and Airline. We also ask that you cover the cost of the required health certificate ($55) and crate ($35).
